Generators implemented in O2DPG

This table provides an overview of all available Monte Carlo generator configurations (.ini files) in the O2DPG framework. Each configuration specifies the generator setup for different physics processes, collision systems, and experimental conditions. More detailed info are contained in the .C macros inside the .ini configurations.

Current Generator Types:

  • Pythia8: Pythia8 event generator (includes standard and custom implementations)
  • HepMC: Generators using HepMC interface (e.g., EPOS4)
  • Starlight: Starlight generator for photon-induced processes
  • Custom: Standalone custom generator implementations (with macro filename)
  • Cocktail: Multiple particle species with specified ratios using GeneratorCocktail.C
  • Gen1 + Gen2 + …: Combination of multiple generators
